WHERE TO TRAVEL IN...JULY

This month sees Europe’s peak season go into full swing. If you’re looking for a holiday by the beach, you’ll have your choice of destinations where the weather is hot and the sea is warm. If you’d like to try somewhere different from the perennially popular countries of Greece, Turkey and Spain, how about a holiday in Corsica or Sardinia? These are both beautiful islands with fabulous beaches and spectacular scenery if you want to leave your sun lounger to explore.

Further afield, July is the perfect time of year to visit the Indonesian islands of Bali and Lombok or the South Pacific Islands of Fiji and French Polynesia. It’s counter-intuitive because you have to fly a long way to get there, but the best time to visit these destinations is in our summer.

For wildlife viewing, and if a safari is top of your Bucket List, July is a wonderful time of year to visit Kenya and Tanzania to witness the Great Migration - “the Greatest Show in Earth). Or July’s a great time to take an Arctic Cruise to see Polar Bears.

If it’s a city break you fancy, July’s a great time to visit the more northern of Europe’s cities. Stockholm is an amazing destination for a few days – I’ve visited twice and really love it here. Or head to Amsterdam where you can often catch free open-air comedy, dance and musical performances in Vondelpark. For a long-haul city break, head to Singapore. July is when the city celebrates its multicultural cuisine with the Singapore Food Festival. From cooking masterclasses and fine dining events to a street food extravaganza.

Wherever you're hoping to travel to, expert help is just a phone call or email away. Get in touch and let's start planning your summer trip.
