BETTER HOLIDAYS BEGIN WITH BETTER THINKING.

People often get in touch asking for a quotation.

I almost never start there.

It’s not because I don't want to tell you how much a holiday costs.

It’s because before I can recommend a destination, hotel or itinerary, I want to understand what's important to you.

What prompted the trip?

What are you hoping to get from it?

How do you like to travel?

Those answers influence almost every recommendation I make.

A quotation is simply the end result of that thinking, not the starting point.

It's never been easier to research a holiday.

Within a few minutes you can compare hotels, read reviews, watch videos, browse forums and even ask AI to suggest an itinerary.

I think that's a good thing.

But having more information doesn't necessarily make decisions easier.

Every destination looks amazing.

Every hotel has hundreds of glowing reviews.

Every article recommends somewhere different.

Instead of feeling more confident, you can end up feeling less certain than when you started.

That’s where experience comes in.

After years of helping people plan holidays, you start to recognise the questions that really matter, the compromises worth making and the things that genuinely make one holiday a better fit than another.

Information is everywhere. Clarity is harder to find.

Get in touch earlier than you think

One of the things people often say to me is:

"We don't really know what we want yet."

Perfect.

That's exactly the right time to get in touch.

Don't wait until you've researched every possible option.

Bring me the rough idea.

"We fancy Africa..."

"It's our silver wedding anniversary..."

"We've always wanted to go to Japan..."

That's enough.

Sometimes we end up with exactly the holiday you had in mind.

Sometimes we end up somewhere different because, after talking it through, it turns out to be a much better fit.

Either way, the conversation comes first.

Every holiday begins the same way.

You might think that this approach only applies to complicated itineraries.

It doesn't.

Whether you're choosing between Mauritius and the Maldives, planning your first safari or putting together a multi-centre tour of Japan, the starting point is exactly the same.

The destination is important.

But understanding what will make your holiday special comes first.

What happens next?

An initial conversation is just that – a conversation.

We'll talk about your ideas, holidays you've enjoyed before, your budget, your timescales and what's important to you.

If, at the end of that conversation, we both feel we're a good fit, I'll go away and put together some ideas.

My most recent Google review.

"A serendipitous Facebook advert brought me to Sue after I had been researching a safari and Zanzibar holiday for myself and my 14-year-old son. It was clear from our initial chat that Sue really knows her stuff and was so supportive and approachable about putting together a bespoke package for us, tweaking the itinerary as we worked it through. We are so excited about our upcoming trip and will let you know how it all goes!"

Ready to start planning?

A half-formed idea is enough.

Get in touch and let’s start with a conversation.
